Why people get sick:
Up to 70% of all antibiotics manufactured in the U.S. are given to livestock, and enter the human food chain. Antibiotics contribute to new strains of bacteria, virii, and fungi. This directly affects humans by creating more deadly diseases and flu. Antibiotics cause digestive problems for 10s of millions of Americans. Methicillin Resistant Staph, or MRSA, has been found by the University Of Iowa in 70% of hogs, AND 64% OF HUMAN FARM WORKERS in a recent study. CBS News Report - click here
The amount of gluten found in wheat has increased due to interference by man. Originally, wheat contained about 2% to 3% gluten. Today's hybrid wheat now contains about 45% to 50% gluten. It is estimated that 1 out of 3 Americans are sensitive to today's un-natural, extremely high, gluten levels, which have been documented to produce Autism-like symptoms in humans.
As of 2006, 89% of SOY (soybeans) are Genetically Modified (GM) to allow ROUNDUP, a weed killer, to be sprayed on crops. MONSANTO makes ROUNDUP, the GM soybean seed, and Genetically Modified corn (BT Corn) and other seeds that have resulted in digestive, neurological, and cognitive problems for humans.
The suspected harmful casein protein found in Type A1 cows milk, is BCM-7 (beta-casomorphin-7), which acts as an opiate. This harmful casein molecule is the result of a genetic defect which occurred in Holstein cattle, believed to have happened 1000 to 2000 years ago. Holstein Cattle giving Type A1 milk, which researchers say contributes to gut, cardiovascular, autism, and other problems, is found in 50% of the Holstein (American) milk production. Experiments are underway to breed Jersey and Guernsey cows that give almost 100% Type A2 (healthy) milk. Reducing BCM-7 from Type A1 Milk, has also shown to decrease symptoms of autism.
"There is only one genetic difference between A1 and A2 milk, being the amino acid at position 67 in the chain of 209 amino acids that make up beta-casein protein in milk. “In the case of A1 beta-casein the amino acid at position 67 is histidine, whereas with A2 beta-casein it is the amino acid proline.”" -- Devil in the Milk, Craig Potton Publishing, Nelson, 2007, page 37
